This February (2026), Glenro had the opportunity to attend two industry events that brought together innovators and manufacturers across various markets. From the paper and plastics industries in Wisconsin to converters and laminators in North Carolina, these trade shows provided valuable insights, meaningful conversations, and opportunities to connect with both new prospects and longtime partners.

“The last two trade shows have been an extremely helpful way to connect our talent with others in both the 5P and converting industries and to be part of creating solutions for the future.” said Andrew Hubbard, Sales Engineer at Glenro.

GBIG’s 5P Showcase Expo – Green Bay, Wisconsin

The first event Glenro attended was GBIG’s 5P Showcase Expo in Green Bay, Wisconsin, hosted by Marty Ochs. Northern Wisconsin is often referred to as the “Silicon Valley” of the paper industry in the United States, making it an ideal setting for companies involved in paper, pulp, plastics, and packaging technologies.

Through Marty’s extensive network and industry knowledge, Glenro was able to connect with a wide range of companies within the 5P industries. Many attendees were interested in learning more about Glenro’s lamination systems and hot air ovens, particularly for applications in the paper and plastics sectors.

The expo also featured discussions on evolving EPA standards and environmental considerations affecting plastics manufacturing. These conversations highlighted the growing importance of equipment and processes that help companies stay compliant with industry regulations while maintaining efficiency. Glenro’s lamination systems and hot air ovens continue to play an important role in helping manufacturers meet these evolving standards.

Converters Expo South – Charlotte, North Carolina

Later in the month, Glenro attended the Converters Expo South in Charlotte, North Carolina. The show provided an excellent opportunity to meet with companies specializing in lamination, coating, and related processes. Glenro connected with several promising leads and prospects interested in the company’s hot air oven solutions, which are widely used in converting and laminating applications.

Beyond new connections, the event also offered a chance to strengthen existing relationships. Sales Engineer, Andrew Hubbard, and Senior Sales Engineer, Eric Hummel, had the opportunity to meet with longtime Glenro clients over dinner in Charlotte, sharing stories and reflecting on Glenro’s history and impact in the industry.
