We’re excited to introduce one of our newer members on the Glenro team, Andrew Hubbard, who joined us in July (2025) as a Sales Engineer. Andrew brings a strong mix of education and experience to his role. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Systems Engineering from Northern Illinois University and later pursued his International MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His background is diverse, consisting of sales, applications engineering, and manufacturing, where he focused on lean time studies and efficiency improvements.
“My first job out of college was an Industrial Engineer where I worked with plastic molding machines for a company called Calsonic Kansei North America. They were a subcontractor for Nissan making the dashboard consoles in Lewisburg, Tennessee,” Andrew shared. Over the years, he has also sold torque tool equipment, small machines, and computer data integration software, gaining experience across healthcare, manufacturing, and computer industries.
At Glenro, Andrew enjoys the customer-facing side of his work. “In sales, I enjoy working with customers but most importantly I look forward every day to an optimistic goal for myself to network globally and find exciting new opportunities with clients. This is what excites me day to day.”
When asked what motivates him most, Andrew was quick to highlight his colleagues. “I am proud of being a part of a team of workers who are supportive and have a good reputation and history working together as a company. This motivates me every day as I believe Glenro’s management is very good and allows for a lot of growth.”
Outside of work, Andrew is always on the move. “While not working I spend a lot of time enjoying the outdoors. I do a lot of hiking and cycling throughout the summer. In the winter, I love skiing and winter hikes as well. I also love reading books on theoretical physics as I have read many of the Michio Kaku books on space and time.”
Andrew describes himself as curious and optimistic. As a kid, he dreamed of becoming a professional skateboarder. Today, he lives in Colorado Springs, just outside Denver, and is the oldest of four brothers. His favorite food is pizza, especially Rosati’s! He’s a big fan of both Leonardo DiCaprio and Jason Aldean. When it comes to sports, you’ll find him cheering for the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Nashville Predators, and Chicago Blackhawks.
